Hi, my name is Brittany Blaylock; Welcome to our website Blue Merle Aussies. I would like to begin this introduction by telling the story of how my admiration for the Australian Shepherd breed came about. One Christmas, when I was just a young girl growing up in central Arkansas, my mother and father brought home this big black ball of fur. His name was Frisco and as I grew up he became my very best friend. He was smart, protective, loyal, and most of all he loved me as much as I loved him. We were together everywhere we went until the day he left this world.

Now I am a breeder of Australian Shepherds sharing that dream with other little girls and boys. The breed is smart, playful, protective, energetic, and the true meaning of mans best friend. I now have my own family who has fallen in love with Australian Shepherds. I have been married for 13 years and we have 2 children and 2 adult Australian Shepherds. Gavin, my son is 10 and Hannah, my daughter is 6. Our puppies grow up with much love and socialization due to the fact our children hardly put them down. My Kids are very active outdoors; one of our favorite activities is riding in the boat on Greers Ferry lake in Heber Springs Arkansas. This is a passion we share with our dogs.

Blue Merle Aussies strives to carry on the traits we consider most important in The Australian Shepherd breed; a healthy lustrous hair coat, a great temperament, and trainability.
